What It Does
- Sales Order Fulfillment — When a sales order is confirmed in Business Central, a pick ticket is automatically created in CloudX with full shipping and address details. The ticket reference is written back to the sales order, and duties payer information is included for international shipments when enabled.
- Purchase Order Receiving — Confirmed purchase orders are sent to CloudX as receiving tickets, giving the warehouse visibility into expected inbound shipments. If a ticket already exists for an order, it is updated rather than duplicated, and the reference is stored back in Business Central.
- Shipment Confirmations — Once orders ship from CloudX, shipment details flow back to Business Central automatically. Each confirmation includes the ship date, carrier and service, line-level shipped quantities, and all package tracking numbers with tracking URLs.
- Purchase Receipts — When goods are received at the CloudX warehouse, receipt records are created in Business Central with received quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, traceability codes, and carrier details.
- Inventory Adjustments — Manual stock corrections posted in CloudX are brought back into Business Central as inventory transactions, grouped by warehouse location and including the adjustment reason, type, and quantity history for a complete audit trail.
